Job Duties and Responsibilities :

• Prepares presentations, reports, letters and routine correspondence
• Responsible arranging conference calls and responds to routine business questions or taking and delivering messages as needed
• Document production Reads and routes incoming mail. Locates and attaches appropriate file to correspondence to be answered by employer
• Organizes and maintains file system, and files correspondence and other records, as needed.
• Coordinates manager’s schedule and makes appointments
• Arranges and coordinates travel schedules and reservations.

• Coordinates and arranges meetings, prepares agendas, and reserves and prepares facilities
• Makes copies of correspondence or other printed materials, as requested by management
• Prepares outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mail and faxes
• Conducts research and compiles and types statistical reports
• Orders and maintains supplies, and arranges for equipment maintenance, as needed
• May be responsible for independent tasks as assigned by management
• May direct other clerical staff in the department
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements and Qualifications :
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Business school, Associate’s degree, or equivalent is a plus
• Experience working on Department of Defense projects is a plus
• Over 5 years of related experience required
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other necessary software packages
• Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations
• Listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions
• Writes clearly and informatively; edits work for formatting, spelling, and grammar
• Varies writing style to meet needs; presents numerical data effectively
• Able to read and interpret written information Uses time efficiently
• Approaches others in a tactful manner; accepts responsibility for own actions
• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; applies feedback to improve performance
• Adapts to changes in the work environment; ability to maintain organization in a changing environment.
